Position: Talent Coordinator

Reports To: Talent Manager and Director of Creative Strategy

Scope of Position:  Supports and assists Talent Manager and Director of Creative Strategy and engages independently in talent management tasks to contribute to successful placements of client products with social media influencers, celebrities and VIPs. Contributes to successful production and sponsorship of promotional events. Develops clear understanding of client expectations and goals, maintains high level of customer service and becomes a trusted resource for clients. Works in a collaborative, productive and timely manner with all colleagues to further company goals. 

Primary Job Duties: 

Under the supervision of the Talent Manager: 

  • Identify and successfully source appropriate talent according to client brand needs
  • Monitor social media for client brand mentions 
  • Report periodically to team on social media placements and social media activity
  • Manage invitations and appointments for brand events and pop-ups
  • Assists with talent scouting and booking for client initiatives
  • Collaborate on event production and sponsorships
  • Assist with sourcing potential brand partners/collaborations
  • Assist with creative production for photoshoots or video content

Secondary Job Duties:

  • Manage and update company LinkedIn posts to increase company profile
  • Administrative and office area maintenance related to working in a collegial small office (ex. Answering phones, shipping orders, taking out trash)

  • Excellent communication skills: presentation, verbal and written
  • Ability to establish good working relationships with colleagues, vendors, clients and other professional contacts
  • Knowledge and passion for the media, including social media
  • Flair for creativity, strategic thinking and innovation
  • Customer service focused
  • Ability to take and follow direction from supervisors
  • Ability to work efficiently in high-volume, deadline driven environment
  • Ability to take initiatives and work independently when required
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work on multiple projects or portfolios and manage a project through to completion
  • Solid knowledge of common computer applications including Google Workspace
  • Ability to do deep-dive internet research
