Job Overview:

The sales associate will be an integral part of our Ledbury Road store team, working closely with the Retail Manager to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the store's success. Your primary focus will be to assist customers, drive sales, and maintain the store's visual appeal, all while upholding the brand's values and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.

• Actively listen to customer needs and preferences to provide tailored product recommendations.

• Create a positive shopping experience by answering inquiries and addressing any concerns.

• Develop a deep understanding of our products shapes, materials, and design elements, to share details with customers.

Sales Support:

• Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets through product knowledge and effective selling techniques.

• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.

Store Operations:

• Ensure that products are presented attractively on the shop floor.

• Ensure that store is always clean and tidy for customers.

• Assist in store displays and merchandising changes as needed.

Stock Maintenance:

• Monitor inventory levels in the stock room and communicate restocking needs to the Retail Manager.

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Customer Data Capture:

• Collect and input customer information into the database for future marketing initiatives.

• Encourage customers to join loyalty programs or newsletters.

Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate with fellow Sales Associates and the Retail Manager to achieve store goals.

• Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.

Event Coordination:

• Assist the retail manager in organising and preparing for in store events, promotions, and product launches.

Qualifications:

• Previous retail experience is preferred.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Sales-driven with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• High attention to detail and a strong sense of visual aesthetics.

• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

• Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in retail or fashion is a plus.
