Fabric Research Specialist

We are looking for a Fabric Research Specialist for our Fabric Research Team in our Global HQ in Milan.

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

• Collaborate with fabric team to identify the best fabric and embroidery to create the designs, contributing and inputting ideas to the design team
• Work closely with other members of development and production teams tosupport project development according to the seasonal structure thatledto on-time delivery of fabrics and trims
• Insertingdata in PLM
• Reviews and maintains the department's fabric library to ensure this is kept up to date
• Contact suppliers for pricing, terms of delivery, technical sheets and availability of materials and colours
• Create fabric sheets
• Research colours for colour cards
• Support the team to overview meeting calendar

Requirements:

• Experiencein working withdesign teamsor in similar roles
• 3-4years' experiencein relevant roles
• Excellent organisation and project management skills
• Strong communication skillsandability to build meaningful relations across multipledepartments
