Head of Finance Global Operations

On, the fastest-growing running and sportswear brand globally, is seeking a Head of Finance Global Operations to join On's global Finance leadership team, reporting directly to the Deputy Group CFO. This role presents an opportunity to play a pivotal part in optimizing financial operations and driving operational efficiency across product development, sourcing and manufacturing, as well as Logistics. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about financial planning, cost optimization (including margin ownership), and cross-functional collaboration.

Your Mission

As Head of Finance Global Operations, your mission is to oversee and optimize financial operations and be the business partner to On's Chief Operations Officer. You and your team support R&D, Sourcing (incl. FOB cost management), Logistics, as well as the overall integrated business planning office.
- Lead an effective and efficient procure-to-pay process and support stakeholders in their daily activities incl. Head of Footwear Development, Head of Apparel Development, Global Head of Sourcing Footwear, Global Head of Sourcing Apparel, Head of Supply & Demand Planning, Head of Logistics, and Head of IBP Office.
- Manage the legal setup and finance flow of all sourcing entities (Vietnam, Indonesia, China, etc.), working closely with Group Finance to ensure compliance and efficient financial operations.
- Oversee and manage directly the Chief Accountant and their team in Vietnam (main Sourcing entity).
- Oversee trade topics such as warehouse at origin, first-sale-principle, and the flow of payment from sourcing to On AG.
- Oversee and steer net working capital and related procurement decisions, including transparency on inventory levels at factories, in-transit, in warehouses, and in-channel. Help set and track NWC targets per region and for the Group overall.
- Support the full cash conversion cycle per region guiding the regional CFOs, optimizing cash flow and ensuring efficient cash management
- In close collaboration with the Group FP&A team, develop comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts specific to manufacturing, sourcing & procurement and logistics.
- Evaluate cost structures across manufacturing, sourcing and procurement and logistics, identifying cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within financial operations.
- Assess financial risks associated with manufacturing, sourcing and procurement and Logistics.

Your Story

- You possess a strong background in financial operations, cost management, and operational finance and have a deep understanding of manufacturing, sourcing, procurement, and logistics.
- You have a track record of analyzing financial data, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and driving profitability.
- You have past experience in being a Head of Finance for Supply Chain / Sourcing in a high-growth organization
- You are adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing financial guidance and have excellent leadership and team management abilities
- You have exceptional communication skills and the ability to build relationships quickly
- You have experience in cross-functional collaboration and are a skilled problem-solver
- You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Other languages are a plus but not a must
