Retail Merchandising Lead APAC
Job Details
Support the most exciting and fastest-growing global sports brand with their own retail stores operations and expansion. In this position, you will be among the first hires of the APAC Retail Merchandising team, you will be leading the retail product strategy, driving sales analysis and planning forecasts to ensure the right product at right time and in the right quantities in our retail stores. You will be part of the most exciting projects of store openings in APAC and you will help build the Retail Merchandising team to support the rapid growth of the coming years.
Your Mission
-Oversee and coordinate the planning and execution of Merchandising strategies for retail stores and act as main point for global teams on retail related Merchandising topics
-Make sure that the general APAC Merchandising strategy is adjusted and applied to retail needs.
-Create/Maintain communication processes to collaborate with wholesale, Ecommerce and global Merchandisers.
-Lead the build up of sales analysis reports across regions, stores and categories that allow key stakeholders to access and understand information in a simple way.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Visual merchandising, and product teams to ensure the successful implementation of Merchandising strategies.
-Work closely with Demand planners to understand APAC cross-channel stock situations and be able to support the Merchandising team taking decisions (Planners and allocators)
-Develop the Retail product strategy for Apparel across all APAC regions and plan the seasonal Apparel forecast quantities per model and color level.
-Monthly check of sales targets vs actual sales and update strategic and financial teams of any unexpected trend and propose a new forecast.
Your Story
-6 years of experience in a similar role. Preferably in the fashion, outdoor or sports industry.
-You are highly analytical and have a good level of Excel knowledge
-Bachelor in Economics, Math, Statistics or any related science
-You have an entrepreneurial growth mindset, eager to challenge the status quo with an appetite for relentless improvement
-Curiosity to work across different cultures and regions
-Language: Professional English
-Location: Shanghai
