Your Role

The Senior Tax Analyst, who will report to the Senior Tax Manager, will play a key role in supporting the Company's corporate tax department primarily responsible for the timely preparation of all income tax returns, extensions, and estimated tax payments, assisting with quarterly and annual income tax provision process and assisting with other tax planning and special projects.

What You'll Do
  • Prepare consolidated US federal and state/local tax returns in addition to proforma and separate company tax returns and supporting workpapers.
  • Prepare tax differences for provision and tax return compilation.
  • Prepare US federal, state, and local quarterly estimated payment and annual tax return extensions.
  • Prepare annual report filings.
  • Assist with preparing quarterly and annual tax provision in accordance with ASC 740 including preparation of financial statement footnotes and disclosures.
  • Assist with cash tax forecasting and ETR modelling.
  • Maintain tax compliance calendar and ensure all tax deadlines are met
  • Manage responses to tax notices, exam information requests and other correspondence.
  • Assist with corporate tax projects and tax planning.
  • Assist with the tax related portion of vendor and customer new set ups and related tax forms.
  • Oversee changes in tax laws and regulations and conduct tax research to author or co-author related internal memorandums.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as treasury, accounting, legal, and operations, to gather necessary information for tax compliance, provision, and planning.
  • Identify and define process improvement opportunities to facilitate streamlining and automation of data for efficiency.


What You Bring
  • 3+ years previous corporate tax experience
  • 2+ years in public accounting or large corporate tax department
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting; coursework in a Master of Taxation
  • CPA candidate
  • Proficiency in Microsoft excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, Essbase)
  • Experience with OneSource tax software
