Design Intern

We are looking for a strong creative candidate who is able to work in a fast-paced environment and span across areas of design, production and development of the brand.

The Design Intern will work across the Sister Jane, Dream Sister Jane and Ghospell ranges and support the design team for trend research and technical aspects of the garment, demonstrating commercial awareness and understanding of shape, colour, fabric, print and customer demand.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Working closely with the Designers to assist delivering trend oriented and commercial capsule collections
• Provide general daily assistance to the designers
• Develop and contribute towards collection stories
• Conducting trend research relevant for each brand 
• Creating CADs and tech packs

PROFILE:

• Fashion design graduate, ideally with some previous professional experience in the industry
• Self motivated
• Strong team working, organisation and communication skills
• Excellent skills in CAD and technical drawings
• A knowledge of print design is preferred but not necessary
• Good knowledge of garment construction
• A keen eye for trend and a personal interest in fashion
• Eager to take responsibilities and take initiative
• A background in accessories is preferred but not necessary
