About THE ROLE
The PVH Finance team is instrumental to the success of the Region North business (UK, Ireland, Netherlands, and Nordics). Acting as a true enabling function, the team are responsible for providing accurate, timely and reliable information which supports and shapes our strategic direction.
The Senior Director of Finance, Region North is responsible for Finance, Legal, IT, Wholesale Operations & Wholesale Planning for Region North, leading a large team including Senior Leaders and experts in their fields. The Senior Director of Finance is ultimately accountable for the financial success of the organisation, by identify opportunities and reducing legal and financial risks. This a true strategic and people leadership role and sits as part of the Region North Leadership team. They report directly into the Managing Director of Region North and works closely with the CFO across Europe.

About THE ROLE

The Senior Director of Finance is ultimately accountable for the financial success of the organisation, by identify opportunities and reducing legal and financial risks. They report directly into the Managing Director of Region North and works closely with the CFO across Europe.
Responsibilities include:
- Directing the preparation of timely and insightful financial analysis to determine progress against strategic plans.
- Executive financial initiatives within Region North by working with the European headquarters and global teams.
- Leading the partnership and collaboration for all finance indicators regarding performance, profitability and implementation of new strategies and cost control. Including but not limited to, store performance, retail OPEX & CAPEX, sales and margin.
- Providing strategic and financial advice to the Region North Managing Director ensuring all financial and business implications have been considered.
- Partner with the full Region North Leadership team along with counterparts across the European Head office to understand business decisions, provide financial and strategic input to support implementation and regular monitoring.
- Working in collaboration with the Region North Leadership team, create the 5-year strategy, contributing strategic insight and financial data.
- Anticipate and identify key marketplace trends making commercial based recommendations to enhance the organisation's position, drive forward considerations for implementation and regular monitoring.
- Enable commercial success for the full Region North organisation by identifying risks and opportunities within the wider business context. Provide a sounding board and challenge ensuring balanced and connected decision making to drive business success.
- Develop and regularly review business processes in conjunction with Functional Leadership team members and experts within the European headquarters; including but not limited to business planning, budgeting, forecasting, performance targets, and policy development process.
- Create and regularly update fit for purpose, effective and efficient internal financial controls, ensuring constant compliance around the financial and business calendar.
- Review and ensure accounting policies in accordance with IFRS and local statutory requirements within Region North.
- Leading and inspiring the financial communication between finance and the wider business through regular business updates including but not limited to, Business Update meetings, companywide townhalls etc.
- Work closely with the Finance leads / CFO's with the key wholesale customers ensuring successful financial partnership, including but not limited to trade terms, payment terms, funding, staffing and where necessary financial support of business partnering programs
- Lead, coach and support the Wholesale Operations senior leader and team in driving success of the customer order book in the most effective and efficient manner optimizing the shipping flow to wholesale customers.
- Lead, coach and support the Wholesale planning team in qwning the end to end long term planning for Region North Wholesale across brand, lifestyle, gender, seasonal/NOS and across key product groups
- Support the Wholesale teams by providing accurate short term account planning in order to maximize opportunities and revenue potential for both the seasonal and NOS business
- Line manages, lead and support the in-house legal team to ensure legal success within property and commercial contracts - ensuring terms are negotiated and finalised in a timely, commercially sound and efficient manner.
- Line manages and coach the in-house IT function, ensuring ways of working are within business guidelines
- Constantly provide senior direct reports (including Senior Managers, Financial Controllers, Directors & Senior Directors) business and commercial insight enabling them to create connected and high impact strategic plans to drive forward the organisation.
About YOU
