Senior collection merchandiser

Acne Studios is recruiting a senior collection merchandiser, with the task of ensuring a balanced product portfolio that drive sales, secures brand identity and relevance within the industry. This is a role where you will get the opportunity to develop close partnership with different departments and translate the creative vision into commercial potential for high-end quality collections in a progressive fashion house.

The role

This is a role that entails range plan creation for seasonal collections including special- and one-off in line with seasonal targets and drop planning. You will continuously follow-up on range plan versus collection plan in order to deliver a dynamic and focused product portfolio. As a senior collection merchandiser, you will conduct sell-in/out analysis for DTC and wholesale channels and propose actions to react to business risks and opportunities. This role also includes benchmark product offer and price positioning and contribute to seasonal product assortment definition and collection selling guidelines. Further you will present collections to internal stakeholders, therefore, you need to ensure a balanced communication and collaboration with cross-functional partners, including product, commercial and marketing teams. You will report to head of merchandising and belong to the Product and Design department.

This is a full time position starting in October 2023 based in Stockholm Head Office.

You

We are looking for you with an academic degree from fashion and/or business education with a minimum of 4 years’ professional experience in a similar role, preferable from high-end fashion brands. Further, we see that you are confident in presenting and working closely with a wide range of teams. Good knowledge in MS Office applications, particularly Excel is a must. Experience in PLM is meriting. For this role, we see that you have an analytical mindset with a pro-active approach to problem solving. You have high aspirations and understand the importance of excellence. You act with integrity at all times and have a natural ability to influence and build trust. You value simplicity over complexity and are guided by impact rather than prestige. You are pragmatic and hands-on and get things done.
