POSITION SUMMARY: As a ServiceNow Developer for the People Service Portal Global application within our HR Systems team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining the ticketing management system to ensure seamless support and service delivery for our employees worldwide. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into efficient and effective solutions within the ServiceNow platform

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
  • Collaborate with HR Systems and cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to the ticketing management system.
  • Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications, workflows, and integrations to meet business needs, specifically focusing on the People Service Portal Global application.
  • Act as a Global Product Owner for HR Module for Service Now.
  • Configure and implement incident, problem, change, and request fulfillment processes within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Develop and maintain ServiceNow modules, forms, scripts, reports, and dashboards tailored to the needs of the People Service Portal.
  • Leverage your technical acumen to configure out-of-the-box workflows, meticulously fine-tuning and optimizing their performance to meet HR Systems' demands.
  • Proficiency in a wide range of scripted aspects within the ServiceNow system, including Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, and Scheduled Jobs
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces that enhance the employee experience.
  • Perform system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the stability and reliability of the ticketing management system.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to facilitate governance process, ensure successful deployment of system updates, enhancements, and new features.
  • Stay up-to-date with ServiceNow best practices, new features, and industry trends to continuously improve the system's functionality and performance.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members as needed.
  • Participate in regular meetings, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions to foster a collaborative development environment.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:
  • 2+ Years of experience in ServiceNow
  • 5 Years overall experience in Software related discipline.


Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; equivalent experience will be considered.


Skills:
  • Proven track record as a skilled ServiceNow Developer, specializing in custom application development and workflow design.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities, including scripting (JavaScript, Glide), REST and SOAP integrations, and UI development.
  • Strong grasp of ITIL processes, particularly incident, problem, and change management; experience with HR Service Delivery processes a plus.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and version control systems.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate intricate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Adept at both independent work and collaboration within a team-driven environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities and dynamic project needs.
