Warehouse Assistant Manager

REPORTS TO: Warehouse Manager

SUMMARY: Shares the overall responsibility of the warehouse operations, including the receiving and processing of product, accurate & timely replenishment to the store floor, hiring and development of warehouse staff and controlling expenses and shortages.

Overall Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills
• Develop proficiency in all operational policies and procedures
• Manage time and prioritize tasks

Managerial Responsibilities:

• Maximize sales volume by ensuring merchandise styles and sizes are well represented by accurate pulls of the replenishment.
• Identify and implement strategies and initiatives to achieve and exceed business goals
• Act as a communication liaison between store and warehouse team
• Represent the TH image through personal and professional appearance
• Teamwork / Teambuilding - models and sets the tone of team cooperation and commitment to team
  

Operational Responsibilities:

• Recieving/Shipping - Processing deliveries and Transfers
• Maintain an organized stockroom/off-site area / warehouse
• Understand and comply with all company policy, procedures and operations
• Maintain the highest level of security and safety awareness within the warehouse
• Recognize problems, analyze causes, generate alternatives and solutions
• Manage all controllable expenses, including the allocation of payroll
• Follow Inventory Shrinkage Improvement Program
• Able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time

Leadership Responsabilities:

• Assist in recruiting and hiring warehouse associates who possess skills representative of the TH Brand and image
• Develop all associates to be knowledgeable in areas of product, operations, sales and growth within the company

• Motivate and develop support staff to meet store /warehouse goals and objectives
• Demonstrate teamwork within store, warehouse, and company and ensure that staff is treated professionally, respectfully and courteously
• Lead by example

Merchandising Responsibilties:

• Analyze and react to the needs of the business, identify top sellers, slow sellers and fulfillment of merchandising strategy
• Have thorough knowledge of warehouse and stockroom organization / systems
• Required to visit store as needed to assess product levels and support any store needs
  

Visual Presentation:

• Maintain warehouse appearance to reflect division standard
• Replenish merchandise on a timely basis
• Have knowledge of the store merchandise
• Keep management informed of all merchandise-related issues
• Executes markdowns and re-merchandise as needed
• Maintain warehouse organization merchandise/fixtures/hardware/general cleanliness

Pay Range: $24.95 - $28.70
PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions on job advertisements in the province of British Columbia based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
