Position Overview
Buyer - Full Price DTC- Womenswear Full price retail the prospective candidate will oversee the W Polo Full Price business for EMEA cross full price channels, managing all apparel categories. From the assortment strategy and product selection to the investment build and OTB management, the candidate will be expected to balance magic and logic, product, and numbers, to optimise brand elevation and deliver commercial success. Maintaining & developing key relationships is integral to the role.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assortment Strategy and Product Selection · Strategic ability: future oriented to take actions, push the brand forward, articulate breakthroughs, & react in the short & long term as needed. · Analyse and summarize performance regularly to build assortments and drive results in accordance with brand & company goals. · Create assortment selection that will deliver such strategies, optimise brand elevation, and secure commercial success. · Create assortments that tie back to regional customer profiles as well as financial goals and most of all delivering the brand vision in EMEA. · Liaise regularly with key stakeholders across the business to ensure the go-to-market strategies are executed & react as needed to change. · Understand nuances & build strategies by channel · Build and develop a strong understanding of the customer, through regular competitor shops, store visits and market analysis. Investment Build and OTB management · Work closely with Planning counterparts to balance the OTB and Revenue KPIs, ensuring the financial framework for respective brand is optimised yet achievable. · Work closely with brand image/creative to effectively launch product on time, strategies are present in stores, & drive results based on investment focuses. · Be a significant driver of ecommerce results by partnering with the team on timely launches, strategies, & key pushes. · Trade respective categories on a weekly basis; Identify areas of risk and opportunity, and drive decisions that will optimise success and re-balance inventory levels where needed. Team Input · Work closely within own team and the wider Womenswear teams to maintain a strong omni-channel, omni-region proposition to the end consumer. · Collaborate and build strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the business, to ensure goals are clear, supported and executed as planned.

· Product focused, with the ability to demonstrate commercial, trend, competitor, and brand awareness. · Couple buying skills with equally important analytical & numerical skill set. · Well organized, with the ability to react and experiment with new opportunities. · Articulate, with the ability to communicate well in both verbal and non-verbal communication forms. · Resilient, with the ability to shift gears comfortably & can react as needed. · Manage relationships whether up, down, sideways & effectively build new ones that are constructive & effective. · Champion of diversity and psychological safety, with the ability to recognize the value of different perspectives and cultures, while creating a climate that fosters empathy, integrity, authenticity and trust. · Proficient in Microsoft packages including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
