JOB PURPOSE:
The Head of Wholesale will develop growth strategy and relationships between all Department and Specialty Store accounts across the Americas in-line with sales target and brand vision. This role will ensure consistency of brand presentation throughout the network in all accounts. The Manager will oversee the drops to select accounts, and ensure flawless execution of relevant pop-ups and takeovers.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and strengthen client relationships with Buyers, Department Stores, Specialty Stores and E- Commerce sites
  • Meet and negotiate with key clients on financial plans and sales targets prior to the start of the season
  • Work cross functionally with Merchandising in Milan on market needs
  • Collaborate with VM to develop specific Wholesale guidelines per account in line with brand standard
  • Book and carry out Showroom appointments, seasonally, in US & foreign showrooms
  • Present collections and make recommendations based on sales performance and current trends
  • Process orders and work with Customer Service department to ensure all units are allocated and invoiced in a timely manner
  • Provide the highest level of customer service and follow through on orders and deliveries for all accounts
  • Schedule regular visits to Department & Specialty Store accounts to preform product knowledge seminars
  • Collect and collate sales information from key accounts to efficiently analyze and report to Senior Leadership
  • Aid in the set up and disassembly of Showroom collections per season
  • Assist Finance department with invoice, debit and credit note queries
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 4-6 years Wholesale (Sales) experience, with proven track record of managing Department and Specialty store accounts
  • Experience building relationships with key Department and Specialty stores, along with an appreciation for the targeted market
  • Familiarity with major US and Canadian retailers
  • Possesses strong analytical skills with proficient use of Excel (Pivot Tables, formulas, charts, etc.)
  • Self-starter with ability to organize and manage workload and work independently
  • Travel approx. 2 months per year (Milan and Domestic)


For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York City, Moncler Group includes a reasonable estimate of the hourly rate range for this role. This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $130,000 per year to $140,000 per year.

This position is classified as exempt for purposes of the Fair Labor Standards Act and the New York Labor Law, as this employee's primary duties consist of the performance of office or non-manual field work directly related to management policies and/or general operations.Moreover, it is expected of this position that the employee will customarily and regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment, utilizing his or her training, experience, and knowledge.
