Summary
The Trade Compliance Manager will be responsible for overseeing import and export compliance regulations as defined by US Customs & Border Protection (CBP), Fish & Wildlife Services (FWS), Food & Drug Administration (FDA) and Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) to ensure all trade flows are in accordance with Kering Group policies and relevant local, country, and international laws and processes.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
- Coach, develop and manage team of direct reports in accordance with brand and organization objectives
- Maintenance of parts and classification database for all brands customs compliance requirements
- Create and maintain written procedures and guidelines
- Maintain customs entry files according to US Customs record retention guidelines
- Invoice and Entry auditing
- Manage relationship with Customs Brokers to ensure on-time performance, service levels in accordance with brands SLAs and growth
- Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews for all directly managed customs brokers
- Liaise with brand partners, 3rd Party Logistics Provider (Distribution Center), Central origin team and local customer service with respect to import and/or export requirements to support daily operations and the timely movement of product and/or other goods and services, accurate classification, and timely management of all customs related tasks
- Partner with Transportation team and/or key transportation partners to support with timely identification of customs clearance documents and status as needed
- Manage drawback claims, reconciliation, and protests as needed
- Create & manage daily, monthly, and quarterly KPIs to ensure the efficient management of all trade compliance related flows
- Lead projects and serve as the subject matter expert to ensure business continuity, process improvement and cost-savings for all compliance related flows
- Support Finance with monthly, quarterly, and annual duty reports for all Brands
- Supports CTPAT Program
- Document and trace issues through to resolution
WHO YOU ARE
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Customs Broker's License or Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) Preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in Import/ Export, Customs Brokerage/Freight Forwarding including knowledge of Harmonized Tariff Classification System, Import & Export requirements for international shipping, US Customs & Border Protection as well as all other government agencies and their respective rulings
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of seniority
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, whilst maintaining a pro-active approach
- Ability to work effectively and independently
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office packages (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
