About the Role

As the Analyst, Revenue Accounting Systems you will provide first level support to Gap Inc's Revenue Accounting teams, ensuring that all revenue systems are operational to allow business processes to continue in a timely and accurate manner. You will perform critical analysis of daily retail and online sales activities to identify and escalate issues that impact revenue systems and processes. In this role you will effectively communicate identified issues and related impacts and actively participate in solutioning with key stakeholders. In addition, you will administer revenue related systems access and perform other tasks as required to support company projects and initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Review and analyze daily online and retail sales activity for impacts to the Revenue Accounting systems
• Quickly identify and work to resolve business process issues within Revenue Accounting
• Identify data integrity issues within systems and work cross functionally to implement solutions
• Prepare queries and ad-hoc reporting to support business requests
• Manage user access requests for Revenue Accounting related systems
• Support revenue and payments related projects as required.

Who You Are

• Ability or agility to learn various financial and department specific databases and systems
• Solid analytical and complex problem solving skills, including analysis and research of complex data
• Sound problem identification, presentation, and resolution skills including working with cross-functional teams
• Ability to produce high quality work product under tight deadlines
• Ability to create and modify macros, VBA and formulas in MS Excel
• Ability to create, modify and troubleshoot multiple tables and complex queries in MS Access
