WHOLESALE ASSISTANT

ROLAND MOURET is looking for an organised and highly motivated WHOLESALE ASSISTANT to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your commercial and project management skills by supporting the wholesale department across global business accounts and back of house operations. This full-time role is based out of our London offices. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly proactive candidate to join our fast-paced environment and growing team with ample opportunity for growth within the department. The role requires the candidate to support the smooth running of the department, ensuring projects and operations are well coordinated and sales processes are carried out to a high standard.

The role will report to the Director of Sales. 

 

Systems and Administrative duties

  • Implementing processes to ensure efficient running of the department. Becoming proficient in our retail systems; Zedonk and Joor
  • Market set-up and post-market sales: Integrating data and importing products and orders to and from Zedonk/Joor
  • Wholesale data entry: creating and formatting contact sheets, itineraries, and calendars. Ensuring wholesale account records are complete and up to date

 

Sales

  • Building relationships with our wholesale accounts and following up on any queries promptly and efficiently including appointment calendar building for showroom sales events in London and Paris
  • Supporting the Sales team in providing order confirmations, line sheets, product details and data sheets for our wholesale accounts as required
  • Organisation and set up for the sales event in London and Paris, booking flowers, furniture, models etc as required
  • Supporting the Sales team in appointments in London and Paris. Supporting any interns during sales events
  • Supporting Sales in organising and reviewing brand training documents and selling packs using PowerPoint
  • Supporting the Sales team with staff trainings in stores

 

Sample management

  • Booking shipments and returns of the sample sets for showroom events. Receiving shipments at the place during showroom set up
  • Sample coordination for wholesale product shoots. Shipping, tracking and logging sample movements between in house VIP/PR departments, agents and showrooms. Creating a calendar for sample movement
  • Coordinating with Press, Marketing and VIP departments to share marketing materials with Wholesale channels

 

Cross-Departmental Collaboration

  • Taking meeting minutes during weekly meetings with accounts and logistics and supporting Sales /finance /logistics with coordinating trackers and data relating to deliveries, stock swaps and reorders, certification requirements
  • Working closely with the Graphic Designer ensuring the timeline for product images, posters, press clippings and lookbooks are coordinated according to the Critical Path

 

Reporting

  • Monitoring global online presence focusing on styling, pricing and promotions. Providing weekly report
  • Roll ups of best sellers and slow sellers
  • Updating distribution map globally
  • Ad hoc admin tasks across department

 

The Candidate: 

  • A team player with a positive attitude and a “can do” work ethic is essential
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong skills in Excel
  • Previous Wholesale administrative experience
  • Highly organised and process driven
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and manage time in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Can demonstrate good commercial understanding

Desirable

  • experienced in ZEDONK and JOOR  Experience working with DHL
