POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Responsible for the efficient operations and execution of all the merchandising activities for the brand and collaborate with different business partners. Represent the best interests of the brand internally and externally
  • Oversee the brand development and implement sourcing solutions that meet the needs of the brand
  • Supervise team's merchandising activities and talent development
  • Manage the day to day execution and business operations for that brand to ensure KPI's achieved


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Product development execution and Production management
  • Cost control and negotiation
  • Deliver KPI's - On time delivery, quality performance, CR improvement, Traceability adoption
  • Calendar management and process mapping
  • Manage the efficiency of the team in line with the department budget
  • Vendor relationship maintenance and development
  • Calibrate supply chain capability
  • Implement based on compliance and CSR/Sustainability goals and objectives
  • Grow and develop talent
  • Align the team with PVH core value


INTERNAL & EXTERNAL CONTACTS

Internal Contacts: Internal cross functional teams, hub offices, regional teams

External Contacts: Supply partners.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manager and/or Senior Merchandiser, Merchandiser


DECISION MAKING

  • Responsible for day to day governance of all associates in the team
  • Make decision at the best interest of brand and corporate


RESOURCEFULNESS/CREATIVITY

  • Ability to influence internal and external resources for the brand
  • Being proactive to provide options and solutions to the brand

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in apparel, material or management
  • Minimum 10 years brand management experience with 5+ years in people management experience


Skills:
  • Solid experience in managing a team
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of the Supply Chain from Concept to Consumer
  • Have experience in developing supply chain capability and talents
  • Have global mindset of sourcing strategy at the best interest of the brand
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to utilize contacts
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and data driven decision making skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Proficient communication in English and local language, both verbal and written
  • Strong product knowledge and supplier network in men's and women's knit and sweater
