PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
  • Work directly with New York technical design team to execute styles from concept development through to bulk production while maintaining brand vision
  • Support global brand Technical Services team in block & library creation and implementation across various product categories
  • Partner with Raw Materials team to identify functional materials and trims for constructing technical product
  • Execute calibration exercises in-region, internally and externally
  • Work closely with vendor partners on style execution and troubleshooting for on-the-ground issues
  • Manage internal and external vendor relationships and report on qualitative and quantitative performance metrics
  • Drive calendar adherence within the region
  • Runs fit calendar and sessions
  • Support supply chain initiatives that enable speed, agility and flexibility to deliver profitable top-line growth
  • Understand cost and construction across product categories
  • Execute initiatives to increase operational efficiencies and leverage economies of scale across brands
  • Understand global testing and compliance regulations and standards
  • Build relationships and maintain connectivity with global partners from other regions to drive divisional goals and execute strategies
  • Partner with other global Tech design leads to execute global initiatives and share best practices
  • Support Design with innovation through the supply chain by partnering with external resources and conducting market research
  • Oversee and manage in-region technical design team- P2P/ Integrated Supply Chain Model technical partners.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a Branded Retail environment operating within a technical design team
  • Extensive technical design knowledge: construction, costing, patterns, functional trims, garment measuring, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of sourcing and production organizations
  • Extensive knowledge of multi-tiered sourcing strategies
  • Raw Material construction knowledge
  • Experience fitting garments on body
