POSITION SUMMARY:

The SENIOR INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER is a key partner in designing effective training strategies and developing instructional content supporting the needs of the Business Process Optimization and Transformation Enablement COE.

This includes enterprise platform training content, business process optimization content, and standardized templates and tools required within a Center of Expertise. This role will lead training strategy design for key projects as well as play an active, tactical, hands-on role in developing elevated content to support in-classroom or virtual training experiences, self-paced digital learning journeys and template standards.

Key partners include Technology and Process Group (TPG) technical resources, Business Process, and Business Process Optimization and Transformation Enablement teams, as well as regional contacts to gather relevant training context, identify learning opportunities and gaps, and design engaging training materials.

He/she will need to be organized, creative, highly knowledgeable of adult learning methods and current content development tools and resources, and capable of delivering on-time in a fast-paced environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
  • Own training strategy design and approach recommendations
  • Create learning content based on well-defined, detailed instructional goals (including E Learning, job aids, quick reference guides, games, knowledge checks)
  • Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances the learning process, increases retention, and promotes knowledge acquisition, both virtually and in-classroom
  • Apply tested instructional design theories, practices, and methods
  • Build strong partnerships with key cross-functional partners
  • Develop role-based learning journeys supported by enticing, interactive content
  • Recommend budget and staff augmentation requirements
  • Manage timeline for training design and content delivery


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:
  • 5+ years of instructional designer experience required, with concentration in systems and/or technical training development
  • 7+ years of robust, high quality, complex content development experience
  • Broad experience with ILT, vILT, eLearning, videos, voice over and microlearning content development
  • Ability to quickly assess training needs and recommend overall project approach and strategy
  • Ability to support large training projects by building relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • Proficiency in evaluating training effectiveness and modifying content to maximize results
  • Experience in retail or wholesale environment beneficial


Education:
  • Bachelor's degree required; Concentration in Business, Adult Learning, or Instructional Design preferred


Skills:
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional instructional design and strategy capabilities
  • Exceptional ability to develop creative, engaging content
  • Highly proficient in content authoring tools (Articulate, Rise, Storyline, Vyond)
  • Highly proficient in LMS management (Workday Learning preferred)
  • Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office suite
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Strong time management and prioritization
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills


Travel: Less than 10%

Pay Range: $91,000 - $123,000
PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
