Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing the overall process of seasonal sweater yarn that meet designer's aesthetic vision while balancing quality, cost and speed
Approach new material sourcing in sweater yarn focus on newness, sustainability and circularity
Oversee yarn testing and ensure mills understand expectations and communicate as needed to internal departments to ensure final garment quality
Find the right materials according to calendar timelines, target prices, sourcing policy and quality standards
Proactively monitor and meet calendar deadlines for approvals and mill execution
Support the raw material team in Asia and other locations under the guidance of the Global Product Category Lead for Sweaters

Job Requirements:

Degree in Textile or related subject
Minimum 8 years relevant industry experience in Sweater Yarn Sourcing and Yarn Development
Sourcing office background is preferred
Experience in Europe market is a must
Extensive knowledge of raw materials, construction, costing, macro-economic trends, and capacity planning.
Strong negotiating skills in diverse cultural environments
Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
Literate in Microsoft office programs
