We are looking for a creative team player, with passion and a strong background in R&D, who would like to make a difference in a dynamic and international environment and drive our collection forward. The highly motivated R&D Team BOSS Menswear Black & Camel is looking forward to meet you.

What you can expect:

• Trimming research and development, considering collection briefing, market requirements, minimum quantities, lead times and sustainability targets
• Proactive research for innovation, trends, sustainability and technology
• Responsible for the entiretrim development process
• Collaborate with material/ digital creation to develop 3Dtrims
• Sample ordering, leftover management, counter sourcing and price negotiations
• Close collaboration with interfaces and suppliers
• Responsibility for sample orders and tracking, within the given timeline
• PLM/SAP Data maintenance
• Attend fabric shows and travel/ visit vendors/ mills
  

Your profile:

• High understanding of quality, strong sense of fashion, colors and trends
• Successfully completed apprenticeship or studies in textile environment
• 2-3 years professional experience in raw material field in apparel industry
• Knowledge of trims like linings, buttons, labels, hangtags etc (material, production process, quality requirements, sustainability standards) and the ability to understand design aesthetics and translate into trims
• Affinity to the BOSS Black Menswear Brand
• Fluent English (verbal and written)
• Strong IT skills (Outlook, MS Office, PLM/SAP)
• Experience with digital tools (CLOS3D)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Interpersonal competence and conflict management skills #LI-JW2
