Position Overview
This position will support the Production Operations team under the Sourcing department, reporting to Senior Sourcing Specialist/Sourcing Manager, this position will be based in Hong Kong. This position will be assisting the Senior Sourcing Specialist for all areas of garment manufacturing, monthly PO processing and follow up.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Support daily merchandising activities and communications
* ReReceive and discuss all adopted product information from OTB transition with Product Development team
* Worked with Product Development, Fabric, and related teams to collect accurate key data
* Track factory progress during WIP stage to ensure on-time deliveries with correct quality and quantity
* Assist in data analysis and extract critical points for team review
* Generate various reports and update systems; ensure high data integrity
* Oversee the production elements are up to standards and approved accordingly
* Work closely with US Production team on projection change management, evaluate and communicate with supervisor for methodology to meet the changes
* Monitor and improve the continuous changes and communicate the style changes that impact on cost, delivery and product integrity to all relevant parties
* Work with Product Development team for sample comments to factories
* Ensure all required QA files and hand over to QA team with PO & delivery details and monitor production and inspection process
* Stock liability management
* Ensure high product performance constantly
* Ensure factories have all lab test reports ready & validate information on test reports vs GLCT
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
* Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably working with high end fashion brand
* Diploma or above holder in Fashion/Textile or related disciplines
* Sound technical knowledge in sweater or knit or woven
* Experience working in buying office, garment manufacturing and large trading firms
* Experience with both USA and Europe markets
* Self-motivated, independent, strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
* Strong computer knowledge in Microsoft Office
* PLM & SAP system knowledge would be an advantage
* Immediately available is a plus
