Responsible for creative brand implementation, elevation execution strategies while maximising sales & profit across region. Responsible for the management and training of the Brand Image team. Ensure the visual strategy meets the Ralph Lauren Ethos and supports the long-term growth and profitability of the business. Also protects and enhances the image of the Ralph Lauren Brand internally and externally.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Brand Elevation - Ensure that all stores creative execution is delivered the "best in class" to the consumer aligned with the BI strategy. - Enhances the customer journey across the PRO stores ensuring both magic & logic are balanced & consider local market implications. - Be brand aware and protect our brand equity also the region. Project Management - Collaborates cross functionally with all stakeholders and keeps them informed on changes affecting region on a regular basis. - Defines the project goals and the best way to deliver the BI image strategy for the relevant store in partnership with line manager. - Nurtures all relationships that are key to the outcome of each project. - Responsible for identifying challenges within projects which could put it at risk, escalating to line manager. - Responsible for their team's year calendar of installs - Responsible for providing project hindsight and recommendation reports to improve future projects. Business Development - Identifies in partnership with line manager, brand appropriate commercial opportunities that drive success for their region. - Understanding of seasonal buy strategy, key performance drivers & priority of concepts-based shape of buy. - Understanding of the market - Understanding of the P&L of each store & space dynamic metrics to drive the right balance of sales to space mixes. Leadership - Set clear expectations and inspire the team to deliver results. - Collaborate with line manager to create a working team and environment that allows, creativity, strong work ethic and a passion for the Ralph Lauren Brand. - Challenge others to develop as leaders while serving as a role model. - Develop strong and effective business relationships with all Departments. - Develop a broad knowledge and understanding of all departments, understand others point of view. - Conduct employee performance reviews based on competency and goal setting, identifying development opportunities and succession planning. - Facilitate regular team and department meetings, ensure two-way dialogue. - Consistently acknowledge and appreciate team members contribution. - Management of T&E budget in partnership with line manager, ensuring to be aligned with company & FP&A targets. Communication - Facilitate and set up effective communication links between all cross functional business partners. - Model RL values & create a psychological safe environment for employees to thrive. - Hold regular status meeting with the teams, set clear expectations and provide detailed action plans. - Support training & upskilling of creative team- hard & soft skills - Identify & facilitate training session on creative to drive education, inspiration & compliance. - Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- 5 years' experience leading regional/area visual team. - Analytical and problem-solving capabilities - Demonstrate leadership skills and experience. - Analytical and problem-solving capabilities - Ability to influence and elicit cooperation and from a wide variety of resources including senior leadership. - Capability to manage multiple projects and tasks whilst maintaining a strategic approach. - Ability to travel to multiple store locations along with working evenings, nightshifts etc. depending on the business needs. - Ability to use MS Office - Abode Cloud user - desirable
