The Global Supply Planning team is responsible for delivering globally integrated supply chain strategies by enhancing predictability, mitigating constraints and maximizing value throughout the supply chain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in apparel planning and capacity management.
Senior Manager will interact with the NY GSP, Regional Operations & Factories for CK Global Apparel and accessories and lead manage Supply Planning Analysts as aligned to the organization.
Work with the GSP to drive ownership and accountability for supply planning framework and Buy collaboration throughout all stages of the Supply Planning process.
As Senior Manager for operating the Seasonal and monthly supply planning process. Overseeing the team of analysts, you would be responsible for capacity plan level loading and order prioritization. You would join your manager in developing the necessary proactive supply management process (and goals) with our internal teams and key suppliers. Through this work you would position ideas, analyze data and build cases, and stratify the most opportunistic areas of development.
As a key cog in the performance engine of supply you would own supply management reporting and analysis. You would leverage both the tool and your analysts for creating an iterative process for review and decision making. You would deliver exceptional reporting on supplier plan adherence and find a means to influencing improved sourcing management.
Yearly forecast Management Translate 12 month forecast into commitment to factories
Negotiate availabilities with factories when needed.
Update markets and brands about any relevant update in capacity changes from factories
Help provide historical forecast analysis to help improve future forecasts
Provide update to markets and regional teams about factories situation changes that will impact capacity and planning
Work with factories to commit on available capacity
Communicate back to the regional team for any foreseeable issues to meet demand
Execute the Pre-Buy & Buy collaboration for CK Apparel and Accessories Global line
Keep in touch with the delivery dates updates and inform NY team if any relevant changes need to be made before PO placement
Collect Material lead time & tooling development/production lead times.
Ensure the teams perform the following functions optimally:
Ensure the team is communicating to vendors about efficiently and fully all relevant forecast & planning information.
Lead the team for daily planning work and buy collaboration
Assess team members performance & perform relevant performance reviews
Propose & participate in continuous improvement projects related to the team scope.
