GALVAN is looking for a Wholesale Sales Manager and/or Account Executive to join our global Wholesale team in London. This is a temporary role starting no later than February 2024 covering a maternity leave.
As Sales Manager, you will be an ambassador for GALVAN. You will lead sales for your regions (Americas and Pure Players), providing excellent customer service and securing new business. You will be responsible for nurturing client relationships and optimising seasonal sales and in-season results.
You will report to the Chief Commercial Officer for the duration of the Head of Wholesale’s maternity leave.
The position is full-time and may require travel during the year.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Manage designated accounts strategically
-Help to forecast seasonal budgets by account and door
-Deliver on prospection in line with our strategy to secure new business
-Seeking prospective clients and keeping up-to-date with relevant market insights for
-Handle diary management, prepare for sales campaigns and conduct showroom
-Manage the entire seasonal order process (from showroom selection to final order
-Provide consistent product and brand training to retailers each season
-Analyse and act on sell-through results, optimising in-season sales and performance
-Share in-depth end of season and post-market sales analysis and product reports
-This role receives support from the Wholesale Coordinator
-Support on Ad Hoc projects across the Commercial Division
The Ideal Candidate:
-Batchelor’s Degree or equivalent
-7+ years’ experience
-Excellent partnership management and communication skills
-Established buyer relationships notably with luxury US accounts and Pure Players,
understanding of the market
-Strong reporting and analytical skills
-Collaborative team spirit
-Resourceful problem-solver who works well under pressure
-Multilingualism is a bonus
-Ability to travel
