Job Details

KOIBIRD is recruiting for a Finance Manager with ACA, CGMA, or ACCA qualifications and a minimum of 5 years working experience to manage all financial aspects of the business.

Reporting directly to the CEO and Founder, The Finance Manager performs a wide range of duties outlined as follows:

  • Processing all bank payments.
  • Processing of all invoices and matching payments on Xero
  • Monthly payroll  – liaising with bureau, updating any monthly amends relating to commission, joiners, leavers etc.
  • Reconcile payroll.
  • Process salary payments and email pay slips to all employees.
  • Send monthly store sales figures to managing Landlord.
  • Process month end journals.
  • Prepare month end accounts including analysis on accounts.
  • Comparison to forecast and variance analysis.
  • Quarterly VAT Return to HMRC.
  • Cashflow planning and forecasts.
  • Year End Accounts.
  • Online submission to CH.
  • ONS submissions.
  • Year End Corporation Tax.
  • P11d & PSA Preparation & online filing.
  • Distribution of P11d’s.
  • Annual budget preparation.

A successful candidate should also be able to confidently liaise with third parties on behalf of Koibird Ltd, e.g. lawyers/landlord agent/accountants/Bank.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role - retail, stores, stock preferable
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proactive, positive and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Happy to work in a fast-paced environment with ad-hoc requests from senior management.
