Due to our continued success, NARVVI is on a fast-paced growth mission, set to open over 25 stores across the UK in the next 12 months. We're seeking a National Retail Operations Manager to join our team and lead this ambitious expansion.



The National Retail Operations Manager (NOM) is responsible for the NARVVI business success and brand image in a given geographical area. S/he is responsible for implementing sales plans and growth by upholding and maintaining an outstanding customer experience in all stores UK wide.



1. Customer Service:

· Display excellent customer services skills to the team.

· Communicate the customer service objective to Managers and Skin Pro’s.

· Quickly and effectively resolve customer issues.


2. Sales:

· Implement and achieve sales plan by location and review with the Regional & Store Managers.

· Monitor results and take remedial action on an immediate and on-going basis.

· Work with Training and Retail Managers to achieve productivity targets in each location.

· Review staff rotations to ensure optimum coverage at peak customer traffic times to maximize sales.


3. Business Management:

· Preside over all new store openings.

· Monitor in-store expenses (e.g., returns, testers).

· Direct the development of special projects.

· Implement store policies & procedures for stores and team, UK Wide and adhere to them.

· Effective Store visits. Evaluate the performance of the Regional and Store Managers, utilising the reports available and set clear objectives to achieve NARVVI directives and benchmarks.


4. Inventory:

· Monitor stock levels (minimums and maximums) in constant conjunction with Retail Manager

· to ensure optimum coverage while minimizing excess.

· Make recommendations regarding excess stock to National Sales Manager.

· Ensure monthly orders are managed within guidelines provided by National Sales Manager.


5. Merchandising:

· Train Retail Manager to uphold merchandising expectations and develop standard of visual excellence.

· Work with Managers to achieve highest standards of merchandising, display and counter hygiene.

· Monitor merchandising by location to ensure adherence to standards.

· Ensure maintenance follow-up and that forms and requests are being submitted in a timely, accurate manner.


6. Marketing & Events:

· Plan marketing calendar by location in consultation with the Marketing department and within standards outlined by Global Marketing and Retail Events.

· Ensure proper anniversary dates of marketing activity.

· Ensure all collateral/props used at counter are within guidelines provided by Marketing/Training Departments.

· Train Retail Manager to assist with event implementation.

· Attend events.


7. Human Resources:

· Recruit Store Managers and Skin Pro’s as required to meet NARVVI standards of ability, customer service excellence and business success.

· Provide on-going training to empower Retail Manager to run his/her business.

· Coach Store Managers to develop and motivate teams.

· Provide clear and constructive feedback on a regular basis to Store Managers and Skin Pro’s on his/her job performance.

· Provide an atmosphere that motivates, encourages and challenges Store Managers and skin pro’s to achieve excellence and internal progression.

· Review, approve and conduct performance reviews for region.

· Conduct progressive discipline and terminations in consultation with HR.

· Ensure communication, through morning calls, written action plans, notices and one-on-one meetings is clear and consistent, with an aim to coach and develop your Team.

· Recruit passionate and Customer focused Team to develop and succession plan through NARVVI.

· Reduce unnecessary costs, through effective rostering - the right people at the right time.

· Ensure punctuality and accuracy of all paperwork. Ensure all Payroll requests for New Starters, changes to employment.

· details and vacancy updates are returned within the set timeframes.

· Rosters are completed in advance for all Stores/Team, minimum 2 weeks.


Qualifications & Experience



· Minimum high school education, college background preferred.


 Job-Related Experience:

· Previous experience in fashion / apparel field preferred.

· Retail Store Management background preferred.

· Leadership, training, public speaking experience needed.

· Five plus years of working within a bricks and mortar focussed brand – ideally within fashion.

· Two plus years of management experience required.

· Proven ability to multi-site manage in a fast paced, high volume environment

· Demonstrated understanding of Customer experience and continually improving this to achieve results.

· Flexibility and desire to travel across the UK each week and/or Internationally based on the needs of the business.


Analytical/Interpretive Skills:

· Training and coaching new and existing employees.

· Ability to resolve employee conflicts and to function in a fast-paced environment.

· Embrace the brand’s corporate philosophy.


Communication Skills:

· Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills.

· Comfortable managing and supervising people.

· Professional attitude and ability to be flexible and deal with change.


Working Conditions:

Travel to and from UK wide store locations, office (home or specified location), Overnight travel will be required.
