A Day in the Life:

The Senior Director of Stores is responsible for overseeing the operations of stores in a defined region. This position is required to lead the District Managers, Store Directors, and General Managers to drive store sales and productivity while creating an outstanding customer shopping experience. He/she is also responsible to set, enforce and monitor the uniformity of operational procedures across the region for a fast-growing business.

You might be overseeing the development of clientele relationships and driving business initiatives, setting clear goals and expectations and holding people accountable to high standards of excellence, or building a world class talent team who strives to create an exceptional retail experience. Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & People Management
  • Lead District Managers, Store Directors, and General Managers to take proactive steps to continuously improve individual productivity
  • Set clearly goals and objectives on both qualitative and quantitative
  • Develop action plan towards defined goals
  • Display a strong commitment to self-development and growth


Create the Customer Experience
  • Create an environment and a team that consistently delivers an excellent customer experiences
  • Create, model and manage a highly productive selling environment by providing consistent training and coaching
  • Enable the team to develop and maintain productive customer relationships


Represent the Brand
  • Oversee the development of clientele
  • Take ownership for maintaining the Tory Burch aesthetic across all touch points
  • Generate new ideas and apply an entrepreneurial spirit to help building & continuously improve the business


Operational Excellence
  • Oversee the operation of stores; improve operations standards and to maintain consistency across the stores
  • Monitor accurate stock levels and appropriate product mix by monitoring inventory and cooperating with other stores and buying team
  • Partner with Regional Training team in creating and executing retail training initiatives
  • Driving operational improvements (KPI, daily operation & HR management)
  • Coordinate ad hoc assignments and projects as required; collaborate with various functional departments in new store opening projects


Drive the Business & Deliver Results
  • Lead stores managers to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, yearly sales plan and target
  • Improve/maintain strong store P&L
  • Maintain keen awareness of competitor movements and activities
  • Establish strong relationship with shopping malls and initiate impactful retail marketing activities to drive business with the support of Marcom
  • Communicate with VP of retail on relevant store issues, participate in sales projection and analysis


To Land This Role:
  • Degree holder; 7- 10 years retail leadership experience, previous multi-store management required
  • A genuine enthusiasm about the fashion industry and product; experience in fashion luxury retail industry
  • Good analytical skills and logical thinking; sensitive to number and sales figures
  • Strong leadership and professional presentation skills
  • Excellent communication capability
  • Proven ability to drive sales and motivate teams through honesty, kindness, passion, humility, integrity, compassion, excellence and humor (all of our values)
  • Ability to be agile and change course when necessary
  • Excellent business development skills

Compensation Range
The compensation range for this position is 195,000.00 USD - 255,000.00 USD. Our offer will be based on your relevant experience and work location.
