Copywriter and Social Media Coordinator

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly organised and self-motivated individual to join our rapidly growing luxury leather goods brand. This exciting and dynamic opportunity requires initiative, creative thinking, and the ability to multi-task. The role works collaboratively with a cross-functional team to create and implement compelling content across all channels.

Reporting to: Customer Director

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work in close collaboration with the commercial and brand teams to plan and prepare content across brand’s social channels (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest)
  • Manage day-to-day content publishing across social channels
  • Write social media captions, following briefs and the brand’s tone of voice
  • Translate into Instagram stories weekly briefs with the Graphic Designer
  • Write copy for product descriptions, and various website assets on a regular as well as ad-hoc basis
  • Proactively drive the growth of organic social channels, including engaging with our audience daily and answering questions and comments in line with the brand’s tone of voice
  • Prepare and present weekly performance reports 
  • Curating IG Highlights and IG Shop in line with merchandising and branding direction
  • Work closely with Digital Marketing Manager to align brand and activities
  • Help find innovative ways to increase brand awareness and traction across all communication channels
  • Assist in maximising each channel’s shopping functionality

Essentials Skills & Qualifications

  • A resourceful and motivated self-starter with great initiative, work ethic and time-management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritise
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player with a problem-solving mindset and willingness to help where needed
  • Deep understanding of social channels and up to date on industry and platform trends
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Drive and Planoly (or similar planning tool)
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite a plus but not required
  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Available for immediate start
