The Retail Manager works as part of the Retail Managers team, who will align all operational activities and retail initiatives within the Village so as to achieve set sales targets and ensure outstanding guest experience.

What you will be doing

Ensure that the Village achieves its set sales targets, retail strategy and provides an excellent customer experience.
  • Establish and develop strong relationships with existing brands, both at store and headquarter levels, to ensure their daily operational performance achieves set targets
  • Work as part of the retail team providing accurate timely management information with supporting analysis, through weekly reporting, to Retail Director and/or Deputy Retail Director
  • Work with the leasing and operating teams (Hospitality, Retail Development and Operations) to ensure smooth implementation of programmes and new store opening and closures
  • Communicate with Retail Deputy input to training needs analysis and suggested programmes of store staff development
  • Communicate Brand Mystery Shopper Programme and provide analysis and output and agreed action plans to store managers and brand head quarters
  • Work jointly with Hospitality & Operations teams ensuring excellent customer experience and compliance with rules and regulations
  • Work closely with Legal and Operations Managers and Brands to execute Brand Compliance checks and ensure stores comply to rules and regulations
  • Work within the Retail and Trade Marketing teams building Retail Calendars, providing key relevant information to effectively support the overall business

  • Clear analytical capabilities, structured approach, and an eye for detail

  • Fluent in English and French, any other European language beneficial
