About the Role

In this role, you will support the overall Finance function for a large, multi-brand retailer in a fast-paced, complex environment. Gap Inc.'s headquarters Finance team provides financial support to various business units and the Executive Leadership teams. The Finance Center of Excellence team is responsible for standardization, best-in-class processes, macro insight generation, and leading continuous improvements across Finance. You will be responsible for enabling the modernization of the finance reporting suite, supporting in the transition to PowerBI, optimizing ad hoc report optimization, and supporting in data analysis and modeling.

What You'll Do

  • Execute towards modernization of the Finance reporting suite, prioritizing standardization, automation, visualization capabilities, and delivering insight generation
  • Deliver and action to a disposition plan of the current reporting suite
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in reporting suite transition to PowerBI, supporting change management, facilitating knowledge sharing, gathering and implementing feedback and leading training
  • Synthesize business requirements and partner with technical and data teams to meet deliverables
  • Deliver to Reporting SLAs
  • Deliver ad hoc business analysis and projects within the Center of Excellence

Who You Are

  • Expertise in Power BI, Tableau or other similar Business Intelligence/Analytics tool stack including data prep and transformation layers
  • Familiarity with data visualization best practices and principles, such as color theory, visual hierarchy, and storytelling
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel with preferred experience in Power query and Anaplan a plus
  • Strong communication skills and ability to partner effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen in retail math with learning agility and curiosity to connect financial and operational metrics to develop insights
  • Proven ability to drive change management and continuous improvement

Salary Range: $90,600 - $120,200 USD
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
