- At least 3 years of experience in design (ideally contemporary or luxury) Strong understanding of design process from development to sample Understanding of construction in wovens and cut&sew catagories Strong sketching and cadding ability A deep understanding for the Ronny Kobo brand esthetic Up to date on seasonal trends and brand knowledge Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator and or Procreate as sketching/cadding tools Extremely organized and able to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment Strong creative drive and able to interpret seasonal concept into designs Excellent communication skills both with in teams cross functionally and overseas Ability to practice time management skills and preforming under tight deadlines and managing multiple priorities Ability to be in office 5 days a week, with one seasonal creative weekend
- Sketching and cadding all styles and keeping them up to date in linesheets Owning linesheets/keeping them updated and organized from when the collection/styles are first developed and continuing when it evolves through the season. Linesheet must always be correct as it is the most important tool in the collection Assisting in creating final linesheets as team moves into market Creatively brainstorming / sketching new styles for each season while keeping in mind the Ronny Kobo customer and seasonal concepts Be present for development fittings and collaborate with the rest of the team on styles from original concept through SMS stage Help with BOMs and Tech packs as needed Partner with cross functional teams sales, production, product development, and marketing as needed Present in all photoshoots working with the design team to execute every shoot with success Assisting the team as we move into market with all needs to wrap up the collection Collaborating with team to take part in needed follow up with internal and external partners to make sure all deadlines are met and we remain on development calendar and sku plan.
