About the Role

In this role, you will embody Do The Right Thing by protecting People, Assets, and Brands. You'll need to understand the big picture strategy and work with cross-functional teams and external partners.

What You'll Do

The Executive Protection Manager will assist with developing long-term strategies, goals and objectives that maintain effective asset protection policies and programs within their specific environment. Collaborates with the APLT, liaisons with other AP leaders, and other business partners, to mitigate enterprise risk, drive standards and program compliance and initiate investigations that positively impacts total loss.
  • Personal Security & Transportation
    • Provide close protection to the assigned individual, ensuring their safety during various activities and travel
    • Safely transport the principal to various locations using defensive driving techniques
    • Ensure the executive protection vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and in good working condition
  • Travel, Logistics, & Advance Planning:
    • Plan and coordinate secure travel arrangements, including transportation, accommodations, and itinerary.
    • Conduct advance trips to complete thorough assessments of venues, travel routes, and accommodations.
    • Liaise with transportation providers, hotels, and event venues to ensure security requirements are met.
    • Collaborate with security teams to develop comprehensive security plans.
  • Threat / Risk Assessment
    • Collaborate with Global Security & Intelligence team to complete Protective Intelligence Assessments
    • Gather information from various sources to build a comprehensive understanding of potential security threats.
    • Conduct in-depth analysis of gathered information to assess the credibility and severity of identified threats.
    • Liaise with law enforcement, government agencies, and other intelligence sources as needed.
  • Emergency Response:
    • Develop and implement emergency response plans.
    • Be prepared to respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations.
    • Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.
  • Communication & Support
    • Maintain constant communication with Global Security & Intelligence team and executive offices
    • Display a high level of professionalism and discretion
    • Support Global Security & Intelligence team with other assignments
    • Complete other duties as assigned


Who You Are

  • Significant experience in security or executive protection
  • Prior law enforcement experience is preferred
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a proven track record of generating trust and forming alliances with internal and external partners.
  • Must be willing to travel for extended periods of time and on short notice
  • Must be flexible with scheduling needs of the principal and business
  • Valid California BSIS Guard Card
  • Valid California BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit
  • Valid California Concealed Weapons Permit (CCW)
  • High level of firearms proficiency
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Medical experience (e.g., EMT, First Responder, Paramedic) preferred

Salary Range: $111,100 - $147,200 USD
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
