Primary Purpose: This position is responsible for assisting the Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) Manager and group's efforts to ensure Tapestry's processes, internal controls, and reporting are compliant with US Customs laws & regulations. The individual will perform complex and confidential administrative duties to ensure accurate Custom Border Protection (CBP), Fish and Wildlife (F&W) and all other agencies affected by Foreign Trade Zone operations is within compliance of and adhering to all required standards.

The position is in our Jacksonville, FL location.

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Foreign Trade Zone to...

  • Filling all reports for U.S. Customs as CF3461, CF7501, e214, CF6043, CF7512.
  • Managing and investigate inventory inaccuracies through the FTZ Software, receiving shipments, processing adjustments and shipping orders.
  • Staying abreast of any US Customs regulations and updates
  • Collect and validate FTZ daily data against actual documentation as needed to ensure accuracy of integration and information.
  • Assist with the oversight and management of all FTZ record-keeping requirements.
  • Assist and support the Operations Team with international shipments.
  • Assist with maintaining, the required procedures to ensure compliance by all relevant parties to all required FTZ operational practices and protocols.
  • Work with local brokers and U.S. Customs in matters related to FTZ operations.
  • Analyzed and maintain KPI's of FTZ operation.
  • Update FTZ software tables with any new vendor and HTS information
  • Provide any other support to the FTZ Program Trade Compliance team, as needed


The accomplished individual will possess...
  • Associate degree or equivalent
  • Demonstrated Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office knowledge
  • 2+ years' experience with foreign trade experience
  • 2+ years' of ERP system; SAP preferred
  • Experience with import/export trade compliance requirements
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and, decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills
  • Strong customer service and follow-up skills
  • Highly organized and detailed-oriented with excellent time management skills
  • Ability to muti-task and prioritize workload


An outstanding professional will have...

  • Bachelors degree with experience in import logistics and U.S. Customs
  • 2+ years' of logistics, transportation, or Warehouse/Fulfillment Center experience
  • Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems, Manhattan WMS preferred
  • Ability to stay up to date on key import/export industry trends and regulations changes
  • Knowledge of Foreign Trase Zone applications
  • Intellectual curiosity, faster learning and dedicated worker who is eager to learn new things
