The Sustainable Business Transformation Team's (SBT) ambition is to transform the Calvin Klein business to become more sustainable, inclusive, and innovative through strategic planning, partnership building, and purposeful communications.

As part of the team: the Manager, Sustainability will support this ambition through a focus on Sustainable Product Transformation, Sustainable Claims and Trainings, Traceability and Data Management. The Manager's role is a key part in driving Calvin Klein's sustainability priorities against with the PVH+ plan: from supporting sustainable product initiatives, to supporting data projects, to supporting strategy development and KPI tracking. Reporting to the Director of Sustainable Product, the Manager will also partner very closely with Circularity, Innovation, and Inclusion tracks within the Sustainable Business Transformation team, and will collaborate with key internal partners including Design, Merchandising, Raw Materials, Sourcing, and Marketing and external stakeholders to achieve our targets.

Responsibilities:


  • Sustainable Product Transformation


    • Drive roadmap implementation and execution of sustainable product, and material transformation in partnership with key business teams, in alignment with ESG reporting, PVH+ Plan, and Sustainable Business PVH+ Plan.


    • Partner with Innovation Manager and cross-functional teams (i.e., PVH Corporate Responsibility, Packaging, Procurement etc.) to achieve more sustainable packaging targets, drive adoption of better packaging, and fulfill global packaging material regulations and wholesale requirements.


    • Project manage multi-stakeholder, cross-functional initiatives from inception to completion.


    • Gather, analyze, and synthesize data to drive decision-making and execution.


    • Collaborate with SBT Innovation and Circularity team to test and scale new materials for future rollouts.


  • Sustainable Product Claims and Training


    • Manage development and deployment of training materials to educate internal teams around sustainable product claims verification and marketing.


    • Establish and manage a regular cadence of upskilling opportunities for cross-functional teams, including inviting external speakers and partner organizations.


    • Review and verify seasonal sustainable product claims and ensure compliance of product sustainability standards/certifications (e.g. GOTS, GRS/RCS) in partnership with Supply and Brand/Region teams.


    • Maintain knowledge of developments in legal and wholesale customer requirements on sustainability, and deliver key information and updates to Product Development, Merchandising, Marketing, and Retail teams.


    • Develop and implement a Sustainability Ambassadors program to engage associates in sustainability efforts and build champions across the enterprise.


  • Traceability and Data Management


    • Collaborate with PVH Corporate Responsibility, Technology, and Operations teams to identify and implement traceability solutions from fiber to fashion.


    • Manage collection and tracking of data for traceability initiatives, including database platforms and systems.


    • Evaluate and advise on data, process, and systems requirements to enable product and packaging traceability.


    • Monitor and report on progress towards public targets using PVH reporting processes and share analysis and opportunities with Product teams.



Education


  • Bachelor's degree


  • 5 - 7 years of professional corporate responsibility, environmental science, sustainable product innovation, sustainable textiles development or supply chain management preferred with a focus in Fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and/or consulting



Experience / Skills


  • Team-player who is passionate and curious about ESG, sustainability, and inclusion.


  • Knowledge of textiles and fibers for the apparel sector, understanding of related certifications and testing.


  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to changes and new ideas, in a fast-paced environment.


  • Self-motivated, solutions-oriented person with creative and analytical skills.


  • Willing to learn, be proactive, and seek constructive feedback.


  • Strong project management, facilitation, and organizational skills to meet deadlines and drive multiple projects simultaneously.


  • Effective communication skills (written and oral) with ability to present to cross-functional stakeholders.


  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Word) and project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet), familiarity with PLM software.

Pay Range: $95,000 - $115,000
PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
