Job Details

We are looking for a Store Manager, for our new ICICLE store which opened on 22nd January 2024 in Dublin, on Grafton Street  ! You would be responsible of the point sales which involves supervising the sales team (1 sales supervisor and 3 sales assistant), developing sales, implementing and leading a clienteling approach.

MAIN MISSIONS :

1. Managing sales activity

  • Monitoring and analyzing sales results and indicators (number of customer visits, conversion rate, sales growth, etc.) and reporting to line management.
  • Organizing the implementation of sales operations and preparing the action plans required to develop the business.
  • Drives the productivity of the space.
  • Organizing the restocking based on sales and deliveries.
  • Organizing and preparing inventories, checking stock levels.
  • Participating in competitive intelligence, commercial research and analysis.
  • Day-to-day management of the Retail Excellence approach on the various fronts.

2. Customer Relations/Customer Experience

  • Organizing customer reception and participating in sales.
  • Ensuring that the sales area meets BOH and FOH standards (tidiness, presentation, cleanliness).
  • Highlighting the sales area and collections in line with the company's concepts and the guidelines issued by the visual merchandising department.
  • Optimizing customer service and customer relations methodology by managing the database (customer files).

3. Management

  • Helping to recruit sales teams.
  • Manage sales staff schedules.
  • Driving sales team training.
  • Conducting individual interviews, identifying needs and defining training initiatives to be implemented in order to develop employees' skills.
  • Leading team meetings, involving and motivating staff to improve sales results.
  • Relaying action plans defined by senior management (to sales teams).
  • Informing teams of results achieved and setting sales and turnover targets.
  • Ensuring the quality of internal communication (vision, company strategy, key development stages and business expectations, etc.).

4. Day-to-day operations and administrative management

  • Oversee the general maintenance of the outlet, its upkeep and compliance with safety instructions.
  • Ensures compliance with employment legislation (in particular working hours).
  • Organizing schedules and adjusting working hours in line with daily and seasonal fluctuations in activity.
  • Assisting with the organization of special events and sales.
  • Checking cash movements and transferring receipts to the bank.
  • A large degree of autonomy in these day-to-day and administrative operations due to the remoteness of the BU and head office.

PROFILE & SKILLS :

1. Functional skills:

  • You will have at least 3 years' significant experience in a dynamic environment.
  • Exemplary and customer service-oriented (quality of reception, availability, listening, service and advice) to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • The ability to coordinate and communicate internally, in order to involve all of the store's staff and ensure good relations within the sales team.
  • Ability to react quickly to fluctuations in activity and to optimize the organization of the outlet with a view to improving sales.
  • Sense of initiative and ability to suggest improvements and corrective measures.
  • Ability to manage a relatively heavy workload and to be available at short notice, due to the specific working hours of the sales activity (e.g. weekends).
  • Good interpersonal and communication/negotiation skills.

2. Technical skills:

  • Knowledge of sales techniques (reception, advice, presentation, sales).
  • You are results-oriented and like to meet and exceed your targets.
  • Very good knowledge of products and trends, necessary to develop sales pitches and meet customer expectations.
  • Good knowledge of the company's sales and merchandising policy.
  • A good understanding of the competition and the development prospects for your business.
  • Mastery of team leadership and management techniques.
  • Knowledge of internal procedures and specific IT tools (procurement, sales administration, stock monitoring).
  • Ability to analyze sales indicators.
  • Proficiency in the Office package (Excel, Word, PPT).
