Job Details

The Retail Performance Manager will play a significant role within the department by supporting the head of Global Retail Performance in strategic retail performance projects. This individual will demonstrate their analytical expertise to drive the evolution of reporting, analytic insights and data consumption within the Tiffany retail ecosystem. They will combine analytics, data organization and infrastructure with data visualization and strategic insights with the intent to shape the future of our team and company.

They will use both analytical and technical expertise to transform data into actionable intelligence and create solutions that are simple and sustainable. In this role, they will help analyze our global retail network to identify performance highlights and opportunities across our various key performance indicators and enable Retail Excellence and store leadership to take important actions to drive future growth.

Location: This position is in-person at our Corporate Headquarters in New York, NY.

Key Accountabilities:

Data Management & Process Improvement

Collaborate with global analytics teams to streamline reporting efforts and surface standard processes to global teams for adoption

Regularly partner with internal team members and outside vendors to help bring new products, tools, and analysis techniques to forefront

Assess the potential for incentive programs above and beyond regular commission schemes to further drive performance or reinforce trends in business

Analyze and model the productivity by individual and by store/zone matching with the intention to drive an increase and fortify store output

Reporting & Analysis

Define and produce key performance indicators and insights that drive high performance, product roadmaps, optimize business strategies, generate revenue, and build competitive advantages

Analyze sales, client, and performance data across multiple, large databases and present analytical results, insights, and recommendations to internal and external audiences to help advise decision-making

Produce insightful, concise, and visually appealing data products that go beyond fact sharing and show the story behind the data and its resulting insights to both technical and non-technical partners

Support the Retail Excellence team with dashboards and reports to drive strategic objectives and track significant store performance metrics

Support the Global Retail Network through regular performance incentive reporting

Team Leadership

Lead and empower a team, inspiring curiosity, and elevated understanding of retail to drive performance, accountability, and engagement.

The hiring range for this position ranges from $117,810- $135,000. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates' relevant skills and experience. Management is also eligible for bonus.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years working in a data analysis role
  • Business acumen - understand the operation of a major retailer with a focus on enhancing the client experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail,
  • Ability to problem solve and make recommendations based on analysis
  • Data Visualization with tools such as Power BI (preferred), Tableau, Google Data Studio or similar
  • Dig into details and find impactful insights
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Sound decision making skills
  • Ability to interact optimally with management
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive for achievement
  • Ability to prioritize and work in a highly dynamic, fast paced and team-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical proficiency and familiarity with tools and technologies like Google Cloud Platform, SQL, SaaS data ingestion tools, Power BI, Tableau, SAP, Business Objects
  • Knowledge of digital analytics ecosystem appreciated (Google or Adobe Analytics)
  • Luxury retail experience
