Founded in 2014 by Jerome Jacques Marie Mage, Jacques Marie Mage is a Los Angeles-based producer of limited-edition designer goods specializing in the micro-production of luxury eyewear for a clientele of discerning tastes.


With each new collection, JMM embraces a unique palette of precious materials, rich colors, and striking geometric forms, which cleverly reference and beautifully reconfigure the striking individuals, artistic movements, and world events of previous centuries. All JMM eyewear is ethically sourced and produced with the utmost respect for industry partners' environment and wellbeing.


Role Overview:

Under the direction of the JMM Brand Director, the Sr Graphic Designer will create a wide variety of graphic assets for use in everything from social media to print advertising. The Sr Graphic Designer will develop new visual concepts within our existing visual framework, work with key stakeholders and executive leadership to ensure broad alignment, and create assets for use in various media and contexts. The individual's aesthetic should translate into designs that are clear, compelling, and visually exciting. 


Your responsibilities are – but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on a wide range of projects and media, using various software programs to visualize and develop innovative graphics that meet design and business needs.

  • Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to create innovative designs and compelling stories and campaigns in line with brand DNA.  

  • Maintain a level of excellence in all creative with a keen eye for typography, graphic design, illustration, photography, and all other design elements.

  • Follow projects from concept to final approval, ensuring the integrity of the brand in focus throughout. 

  • Develop and pitch new brand concepts for use in global and local campaigns.

  • Update and enforce visual style guides for use by product teams and partners.

  • Create marketing collateral for a variety of uses across all channels.

  • Update and maintain internal databases for design, photography, and video.




Key Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience as a graphic designer in a deadline-driven environment

  • Proven experience leading creative teams in developing brand concepts

  • Expert-level abilities with Adobe Suite software

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • A keen eye for design and detail
