Role Overview:

An exciting opportunity to grow in a start-up business. As Operations Manager at Issue Twelve, you will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day operations of the business. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business and streamlining processes to create more efficient systems. The role will include supervision and management of a team of staff across different departments, financial planning and analysis, property management, and HR functions. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver, possessing the ability to strategise, streamline processes, improve efficiency, and build strong relationships with partners. A fast paced, hands on, process driven individual excited to get involved in all aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Logistics Management
    • Develop and implement cost effective processes to streamline logistics operations.
    • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to optimise business processes.
  • Stock Management:
    • Overseeing inventory management, and inventory reports.
    • Reporting discrepancies and managing any missing products
    • Making decisions on faulty product returns.
  • Financial Operations:
    • Oversee all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Shipment Management:
    • Manage relationships with key shipping partners, such as DHL.
    • Manage large fabric shipments to ensure cost efficient delivery.
    • Manage any shipment that may be held.
  • Property and HR Management:
    • Oversee property management, including office spaces and other facilities.
    • Manage HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and contacts.
  • Contract Management:
    • Manage contracts with suppliers, service providers, and other business partners.
    • Review and negotiate contracts to ensure favourable terms for the company.
  • Customer Management:
    • Managing customer complaints.
