We offer a tailored service to a network of around 100 of the best retailers in Italy. The services we provide are as follows: client prospection, showroom planning, 360 budget analysis and forecasting, sell-thru reporting, market tour and reporting, in store training, marketing support and brand animation, payment support and resolution, brand consultancy.

 

CLOTHES AGENCY IS LOOKING FOR A PASSIONATE AND BUSINESS ORIENTED SALES DIRECTOR TO JOIN US IN THE RECENTLY LAUNCHED CLOTHES SHOWROOM. 

As a Sales Director at CLOTHES SHOWROOM you will be overseeing a Paris based showroom that will showcase emerging designer brands for international sales. In the same curated way CLOTHES AGENCY has developed the Italian brand portfolio to create experience of substance, taste and relevance with a unique visual identity whilst honouring the brands you will represent and the retail partners you will collaborate with. 
 

 

YOUR MISSION AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

As Sales Director you will be in charge of strategically growing and managing a multi brand wholesale business and of the running of a showroom . You will be a key stakeholder and brand ambassador and will actively look for opportunities to further drive brand awareness and performance for a global market. You are driven by targets and enjoy working in a dynamic team spirited environment. You are passionate about fashion and people and identify with our core values. You will drive sales through a combination of showroom sales, product knowledge and strategic sales planning.

•    Maintain and cultivate strong relationships with key contacts for each store 
•    Strategize with  Directors to maximize YOY sales growth 
•    Collaborate with brands to maximize their collection structure and preparation heading into markets
•    Work directly with the buyers and store owners to review seasonal sales goals 
•    Analyse selling for majors on a weekly and seasonal basis to identify opportunities such as, reorders, product hits and misses. 
•    Manage appointments including A to Z of scheduling, working the appointment either physically or virtually, order confirmations, communication etc.
•    Manage showroom budgets, individual brand business plans and accounts OTB's
•    Manage full time, temporary and intern staff 
•    Work with brands and accounts in the showroom, present the collection, help build assortments that best represent the brand 
•    Analyze overall market for trends and competitive landscape
•    Represent the core values of our brand and communicate our goals and initiatives effectively both internally and externally.
•    Work with logistics to ensure orders, reorders are on floors in a timely manner, ensuring maximum selling time.
•    Regular market visits to maintain brand awareness and gather competitive intelligence, store trainings
•    Reporting into the CLOTHES AGENCY Directors

The position will also include key performance indicators such as:

•    Drive and Increase sales YOY.
•    Maintain and develop strong relationships within wholesale network personnel. 
•    Embodies brand culture and spirit.
•    Executes global wholesale strategy and direction while identifying new opportunities. 
 


MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS

•    Self driven and results motivated individual with a natural curiosity 
•    Minimum 5+ years of designer wholesale experience in the fashion industry
•    Experience working with RTW 
•    Handles pressure well during high traffic times during market 
•    Solid understanding of retail math including mark-up, sell-through and OTB
•    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, responding promptly to customer needs, soliciting customer feedback to improve level of service, and relaying detailed reports and feedback to management. 
•    Must be always looking for new ways to drive sales, promote and elevate the brand portfolio presence and enhance customer experience. 
•    Thorough knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word
•    A high level of organizational and time management skills
