We are seeking a motivated individual to join our P448 Boston Seaport Retail Team as a full-time Store Manager. The Store Manager partners with and supports the retail team in all aspects of store functions. The Store Manager’s focus is to lead and guide through effective communication, training and developing all retail associates. The successful candidate must be proficient in performing and training all POS transactions, dealing with customer service issues, all operational practices and visual merchandising standards. This position requires a 40 hour workweek and during peak times may require more hours. Overtime hours to complete all job responsibilities must be approved in advance by your supervisor. The Store Manager will report directly to the Head of Retail.


People Development:

  • Recruit and mentor a team of dedicated P448 associates and brand ambassadors
  • Set clear daily/monthly target goals while defining clear role and expectations to all associates, assisting when needed
  • Build and maintain a team atmosphere that encourages performance growth
  • Perform monthly one to one meetings with team members

Sales Generation:

  • Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, according to company exceptions, and support staff to achieve individual and team goals by analyzing sales and revenue reports to determine forecasts
  • Organizing all store operations and allocating responsibilities to personnel
  • Train the team to recruit new clients through a personalized relationship
  • Understand the economics in their city to anticipate the potential impact on their business

Visual Merchandising:

  • Work with corporate team to plan and oversee in-store promotional events and displays
  • Lead by example in terms of presentation and grooming. Make sure the team is constantly representing P448 (uniform policy, grooming guidelines)
  • Remain knowledgeable on upcoming mall marketing initiatives and events.
  • Act as a liaison between mall contacts and P448 marketing team

Customer Service:

  • Display creative problem-solving abilities to accommodate client needs on a case-by-case basis (returns, exchanges, defected merchandise, etc)
  • Main a positive, energetic and upscale atmosphere reflective of the P448 brand


  • Assist with special projects as needed
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen; assist with strategic forecasts, sales plans and budget to the needs of the business (i.e. payroll, staffing, etc.)
  • Create and update weekly and monthly schedules in accordance to associates availability
  • Monitor a loss prevention program to protect the company’s inventory and assets.
  • Organize and monitor all back-office activities (stock and cash point)
  • Take actions to maintain an excellent level of cleanliness, facilities, and store maintenance.
  • Prepare and monitor inventory and annual fiscal inventory


  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in retail management preferred, primarily in the footwear industry
  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Excellent English communication and writing skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Retail POS Systems
  • Strong attention to detail with a driven work ethic with knowledge of elevated customer service
  • Complete understanding of the P448 lifestyle and customer and ability to communicate it to staff members and customers
  • Skills in coaching, teaching, training, organizing, planning assignments, delegating tasks, and problem-solving.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to the bank and any nearby P448 events in the area.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to climb ladders, lift or move up to approximately 20-50 lbs 
  • Bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling is required
  • Routine standing for long periods of time
