JOB SUMMARY

JOB DESCRIPTION

RESPONSIBLILITY
  • Work with Suppliers and Vendors for the swatches provided
  • Assist to work on the Proto / SMS material deliver schedule
  • Maintaining an up to date materials library for all the sourced articles and price detailed sheet by the material type
  • Manage the material data in the PLM system
  • Prepare proto material swatches and boards for presentation to Design Team when they are in China
  • Assist and follow up seasonal material test when required
  • Participate in different projects to best assist teams with materials needs


EDUCATION & PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED
  • 1-3 years of experience in footwear material development or sourcing is preferred
  • Fresh graduate with strong interest in raw materials and eager to develop within footwear industry are welcome
  • Detailed mind and responsible attitude
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and good team player
  • Strong mathematics and problem solving skills
  • Able to prioritize and work under pressures and tight deadlines
