Position Overview
Key contact for all analysis of financial data, responsible for identifying and driving the strategies to grow the financial plans through innovation, integration and elevation. Key relationship manager as liaison between Ralph Lauren Corp and the licensee partner with respect to product strategy/design/development/approval/market lifecycle. Lead the communication between in-house RL design, wholesale, marketing and store design divisions and the licensee with respect to product strategy and execution.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Instrumental in the development of the long term strategy of the Global Licensing Department and accountable for the achievement of the LRP for total area of responsibility
* Manages and drives process and seasonal calendar for entire cross functional team for business units inside RLC and with licensee partners.
* Schedule and facilitate meetings necessary to achieve seasonal calendar goals. Prioritize, manage, and gain closure on any open issues related to product or process.
* Works collaboratively with internal design group and licensee product development teams to develop merchandise strategies, develop line plan, and assort line.
* Oversee strategy, product selection, and process for marketing, advertising, and in store presentation for all categories of business.
* Manage brand alignment by retail partner, leverage best practices within category across brands, manage retail distribution decisions.
* Motivate business partners internally & externally to innovate, integrate and elevate all product categories and brands in the Ralph Lauren portfolio.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

* Ability to collect and analyze information, problem-solve, and make decisions Knowledgeable in retail math
* Flexibility, open mindedness and ability to think outside the box
* Ability to navigate a complex, matrixed organization
* Ability to work in a fast paced, multicultural and diverse business environment and establish solid interpersonal relationships
* Strong client-service orientation and capacity for cross-functional activities
* High-level of negotiation skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Highly organized
* Proficiency in Outlook, MS Office applications, especially Excel and Power Point
* Several years of wholesale, buying, merchandising or licensing preferred
