Position Overview
Embrace & demonstrate the Ralph Lauren Philosophy & values. Play a strategic role in directing the store team to consistently deliver a memorable RL customer experience to an exceptional level. Inspire, empower, lead and motivate the development of the store team Generate meaningful revenue and profitable and sustainable growth for the store Effectively communicate and implement the store strategy and initiatives that support the RL business vision The Prep Cook is responsible for the preparation all food items to be cooked or baked.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Prepare specific amount of food product according to the daily prep sheets.
* Comply with all portion sizes, quality standards, and recipes. Run electrical kitchen equipment in a safe and sanitary fashion.
* Clean and maintain the working area in practicing good safety, sanitation, organizational skills. Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.
* Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or cart. Prepare appropriate equipment for cooking.
* Operate kitchen utensils and/or equipment
* Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating and checking temperature of products.
* Keep the personal locker and surrounding area in a neatly condition, following internal procedures
* Respect the schedule and working hours assigned by the Manager
* Maintain a clean uniform throughout the shift.
* May perform other duties as assigned.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

* Ability to effectively communicate verbally with other kitchen staff in fast-paced environment.
* Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
* Able to maintain poise and positive personality when under pressure.
* Ability to stand for long periods of time.
* Must possess acute attention to detail.
* Availability to work overtime when necessary
