Job Description

We are currently looking to recruit for a 6 month Internship to support the Swarovski Architecture & Design and Atelier Swarovski Home teams. This Intern will support the teams to successfully implement all events, projects, marketing & communications, as well as with design and product development, major global events and exhibitions, archive and product loans, marketing/communications, designer relations and product launches.

The successful candidate will be experienced in technical drawing systems, have an interest in home wares product development, and supporting across a wide range of PR and marketing projects within the Architecture & Design and Atelier Swarovski sphere.

Main duties include but are not limited to:


  • Working closely with Atelier Swarovski Home Design Manager to provide technical design support in RHINOCEROS 3D and Adobe CC
  • Create design specifications from approved & resolved concepts/samples
  • Supporting meetings (presentations/printing)
  • Commercial/Sales Presentations & support (amendments to copy, image re-touching etc)
  • Visual merchandising & Point of Sale support (Visualisations, modelling & product arrangements, shop-in-shop concepts, vitrine design etc)
  • General design support (e.g. image retouching for Sales, Marketing, VM)
  • Product development design support (issuing files, sample feedback etc.)

Product Development

  • Support with initial timeline creations, CLEAR testing and packaging administration
  • Assist with crystal sample orders on B2B (general research, order placement and tracking)
  • Create, monitor and organize PD storage
  • Shipping support – requesting and packing
  • Product development folder maintenance
  • Assist in organizing all elements of events relating to Architecture & Design and Atelier Swarovski Home, including initial concept, invitations, guest lists, RSVP lists, catering, photography
  • Support the team on all travel arrangements for all events & projects
  • Support updates, data input and content maintenance for Atelier
  • Working with Sales and Operations teams to collate all relevant information for website
  • Assisting with market research
  • Support with briefing and creation of collateral
  • Day to day liaison with international PR teams/agencies with regards to sample co-ordination and send outs as and when needed
  • Have a good understanding of publications relevant to the Atelier Swarovski Home brand
  • Log worldwide press values on a weekly basis, support monthly, global clippings report
  • Update corporate calendars and databases as requested by the team
  • Keep PPT presentations and project synopsis up to date with latest results
  • Maintain and keep updated Approved Content folders with images and collateral
  • Update imagery on online press room
  • Assist the Architecture & Design and Atelier Swarovski Home team to co-ordinate major launches internationally as well as trade shows and ad hoc collaborations
  • Assist with coordinating logistics – shipping and storage of installations and communications materials.
  • Work with the Architecture & Design & Atelier Swarovski Home teams to support the events calendars.
  • Act as brand ambassador, with presence at events, liaising with stakeholders including press, designers and influencers to communicate the brand message effectively
Archive and loans
  • Oversee and support the management of the Swarovski architecture and design archives in close collaboration with the archives team in Austria
  • Work with the team to loan archive pieces and Atelier Swarovski Home collections to press, museums, partners and internal Swarovski stakeholders
  • Support on the maintenance of the Atelier Swarovski Home showroom, product inventory and general upkeep of the showroom & stock room
  • Support the team on the creation of forms, loan contracts and logistics for shipping
  • Maintain a strong relationship with transport agents, ensuring the safe handling of all archive pieces.
  • Maintain office showroom displays on a regular basis
  • Maintain strong relationship with Atelier Swarovski Home team colleagues
  • Co-ordinate sample loans for press, exhibitions and events including logistics and loan contracts
  • Booking travel and preparing itineraries as needed for the team
  • Support creation of expenses reports for team management

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have the following skill set and experience:

  • Degree level educated or equivalent within Architecture / Design / Interior Design
  • A strong working knowledge of RHINOCEROS 3D, Adobe CC, and the full Microsoft suite
  • Graduate level
  • Excellent written and spoken English, additional languages desirable but not essential
  • Experience in a corporate office environment is desirable, preferably within a luxury/retail brand or agency
