Brand Acquisition: The Accessories Team is passionate about fashion and lifestyle and is looking for a market expert for brands for the menswear segment. Your responsibility is to build an assortment with a holistic view on markets and seasonal demand.
Partnership: You will be responsible for buying a specific customer cluster, thereby sourcing new brands, enhancing existing supplier relations and negotiating the best terms for Zalando Lounge.
Analytical Skills: You know all relevant buying KPIs and prepare the seasonal planning for your segment as well as your weekly campaign planning and its organization. Thereby, you constantly monitor the performance of your segment. Your recommendations are based on valid numbers.
Communication: Constant exchange with other departments like Logistics, Content and Photo production, Onsite Management and Marketing are part of your daily work, ensuring that we act in line with the whole organization. You will work cross-functionally to drive sales and maximize profit.
Promotions: You will plan sales and promotions and monitor the campaigns and the output of your segment.

YOU ARE SKILLED
Know-How: You are proud of 2-3 years of experience in the buying or sales field, preferably with a background in Menswear and e-com business.
Intervention: Negotiation is in your blood and you are always a compelling figure when communicating with suppliers and other stakeholders. You have mastered both written and spoken negotiations in English beautifully.
Analysis: Your excellent analytical skills put you on top of the class and you just love working with numbers. You can use Excel and the MS Office package in your sleep.
Approach: Your work showcases your quick thinking and proactive attitude, which also means you keep on top of things in a fast-paced environment.
Teamwork: You love keeping in close touch with colleagues and partners, and you stay cool, calm and collected even when the going gets tough.
