Job Description

The position will report directly to the Creative Director and be primarily responsible for the creation and communication of digital content across various digital channels.

The role of Creative Manager is to conceptualize, design and execute the in-house creative content services of the CAMILLA AND MARC brand to communicate a consistent and aspirational visual and written image to customers,  wholesale, agents, retail, press, VIPs and influencers. The position requires a creative yet strategic mind who enjoys creating visual storytelling across all branded collateral inclusive of digital, print, e-commerce, visual merchandising, brand presentations and brand identity-related collateral.

It is essential that the right candidate can articulate design, rationally, verbally and visually and has a hands-on approach from briefing to final execution.


  • Develop creative ideation under the strategic marketing direction in collaboration with Camilla Freeman-Topper and Marc Freeman bringing to life seasonal campaigns, product launches and events while exploring new ways to communicate with customers 
  • Develop new initiatives to deliver or create content that is leading and/or best practice that will elevate the customer and brand experience and drive sales
  • Art direct content imagery that is on brand and on brief in collaboration with various departments ensuring both brand creative integrity and commercial outcomes are balanced
  • Work with the junior art director when required to create or assist with delivery of assets for digital content campaigns
  • Manage the weekly, daily content plan/calendar and clearly communicate this with the business to ensure all parties are across the content delivery schedule
  • Lead relationship with the design and product team to come up with a big cut through ideas for innovative campaign storytelling
  • Drive the development of the seasonal content ideas and creative to ensure all required creative collateral is developed and executed for the seasonal storytelling across all channels with a focus on social channels eg Instagram, Pinterest, Youtube, Tiktok
  • Coordinate and manage the rollout of this content across all platforms via digital and traditional media ensuring there is a consistent and on-­brand ID throughoutUnderstand and articulate the CAMILLA AND MARC brand through all digital channels (website, email, social) with creative and cleverly written copywriting that is both engaging and meaningful to our audience 


  • Manage and develop the organic social media content strategy across all social channels (Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Tiktok)
  • With the team, build world-class, highly innovative and inherently social campaigns, that are insight-led and resonate with our target audience & community, driving reach and engagement
  • Write and edit all required copy for social and some digital assets eg email, Instagram, Facebook and blogs ensuring that the brand tone of voice is always 
  • Manage and deliver all content planning, execution and community engagement ensuring content best practice and flawless execution
  • Work with a broad range of social tools to deliver campaigns and analyse their impact – from listening to content-planning
  • Work closely and collaboratively across the wider marketing and product teams, to champion social-first ideas and execute activations, events and strategies
  • Build a deep relationship with social platforms to identify new opportunities and develop innovative activations ahead of competitors
  • Continuously ideate and innovate within the social space
  • Find new and exciting ways to engage customers via social media channels to drive awareness, conversation
  • Manage the behind the scenes aspects of the brand and bring this to life through engaging, real-time content across relevant platforms
  • Understand and articulate the CAMILLA AND MARC brand through all digital channels (website, email, social) with creative and cleverly written copywriting that is both engaging and meaningful to our audience 


  • Work with the internal production assistant and external partners where required to produce shoots ensuring that content delivered is on brand, on time and within budget 
  • Manage the budget and process currently developed and ensure any changes to the budget are communicated effectively

  • Highly efficient at using Adobe Suite, Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator 
  • Photography and Videography skills a plus 
  • Previous experience at managing and creating digital content across multiple digital channels

Established in 2003 by siblings Camilla Freeman-Topper and Marc Freeman, CAMILLA AND MARC is an independent, family-owned and run, Australian luxury fashion brand.

While Marc, who studied commerce and engineering, has the business know-how, Camilla found her niche studying design at the WhiteHouse Institute of Design in Sydney.  Upon graduation, she won a scholarship to attend the prestigious Accademia Italiana Arte Moda in Florence, Italy.  This training not only stood her in good stead for planning ranges and structuring a collection, but it also deepened her passion for working with quality textiles and finetuned her training for couturier techniques such as draping.

The CAMILLA AND MARC philosophy centres around offering high-end design and construction with a simplicity in design that allows the wearer to shine through.
