Job Description

Job Mission:
The studio manager is responsible for the management, planning and organization of the corporate photo studio. He must therefore be able to coordinate a work team whose objective is the execution of digital photographs and videos for the different business platforms and uses.
Workplace: the studio manager will be based in Milan and be ready to travel often to Florence. He will report to: Art Buying, Photostudio and Creative Production Director
The Photo studio manager will manage: Photo Retouching Coordinator, Photographers, Video Operators, Studio production Assistants

Key Accountabilities:

Coordination and maintenance of photo/video rooms

Planning of all the activities related to the photo studio including the relations with all the departments involved respecting budgets and deadlines.

Management of all direct and indirect / external resources

Management and maintenance of photo, video and lighting equipment – including the enhancement and the negotiation of the service level agreements for assistance and support on equipment.

Research and evaluation of appropriate technological solutions for the realization of digital photographic and video contents

Key Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of previous work experience in photo studios as studio manager of photographers

Ideally he/she should have an International experience

Education: university / communication with masters in photography, directing and design with  proven long experience in the field.

Fluent English and Italian.

In-depth experience in photography and digital retouching.

In-depth knowledge of chromatic color techniques and applications.

Good networking and relationships with talents, photographers and videographer.

Knowledge of suppliers and technologies related to photographic equipments, videos, lights.

Availability to work on a flexible schedule (working hours and travel time).
