Job Description

LN-CC is looking for a passionate and forward thinking online Art Director to join their creative team. This is an exciting opportunity to join the creative team of a forward thinking and fast paced e-commerce retailer. A deep technical knowledge is vital as is solid experience working within an in-house environment. We are looking for an Online Art Director who has the vision and ability to create on-brand, innovative and contemporary designs across multiple platforms, working around the e-commerce and social media editorial plans. 

This role would suit a creative individual who has a natural flair for conceiving original ideas and visual identities across multi-disciplined projects and creating innovative solutions in a fast paced e-commerce environment. You will be confident in your abilities using Adobe Creative Suite, HTML and CSS whilst always being able to think in an integrated and productive way. You will be a team player and a leader with a collaborative attitude across all disciplines. You will contribute to the strategic implementation and visual identity of LN-CC from a graphic design standpoint. You will work successfully alongside Editorial Content, Online Store, Buying and Studio teams in ensuring all projects are executed with integrity, on brand and on time.

- Develop a distinctive and defined graphic design language for the LN-CC brand and identity

- Translate creative briefs into high level concepts through informed research and analysis

- Investigate, innovate and develop graphic and digital design trends

- Develop graphic design concepts to support the vision and achieve all project timelines and objectives

- Ensure strong consistency of graphic design across all channels by monitoring the quality and execution of all work

- Work on cross-department projects relative to graphic design initiatives, including social media, web content, digital marketing, press and editorial content

- Work closely with Ecommerce Manager, Editorial Manager and Studio teamr to ensure all objectives are reached

- Ensure the use of analytics, SEO best practices, website user optimisation and email marketing requirements are considered in all output

- Use HTML / CSS skills to develop capabilities online and in email marketing - Meet daily and weekly task updates for online and offline projects

The Ideal Candidate


- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design / Visual Communications / Fine Art or equivalent

- Relevant experience in design for digital and e-commerce environments (essential)

- A creative thinker with an innovative and forward thinking track record who is able to understand higher business objectives

- Proven experience in design integration, typography and interactive interface design

- Ability to work with a bespoke CMS

- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, HTML and CSS skills are essentials

- A mature appreciation of the balance between creativity and e-commerce

- A strong portfolio that demonstrating your ability to define a strong creative vision and translate it to multiple platforms

- Strong ability to present and articulate your ideas

- A proven ability to work cross team and understand business needs

- Effective planner who is able to motivate and communicate well to achieve results

- Macintosh IT skills
