Job Description

The Senior Graphic Designer is accountable for providing creative support for teams and viewed as expert in creating innovative artwork and reworking directional graphics for various collections. Supports the development of creative direction of various product collections. Researches and creates fine art/illustrations/graphics that are diversified and brand appropriate. Demonstrates a high degree of originality and creativity as well as provide valuable creative insights to support business strategy. Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure a more efficient development process and an aligned design synergy rooted in quality.

Job Responsibilities

  •  Demonstrates in depth conceptual and practical knowledge in graphic design, screen print, embroidery, and heat setting and basic knowledge of related areas such as marketing, styling, parts and accessories, and licensing
  • Impacts graphic development efficiencies, design synergy, and business strategy execution within graphic design, marketing, and styling
  • Solves complex problems involving brand integrity, diversified graphics, cohesive collection design problems, and business strategy, and enacts a new perspective on existing solutions. Works independently and receives minimal guidance
  • Acts as a resources for graphic designers with less experience. Responsible for ongoing activities, objectives, and may lead projects or steps within a broader project
  • Communicates difficult or sensitive information and builds relationships with suppliers, styling, marketing, and/or parts and accessories 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience
  • Ability to apply knowledge of best practices in graphic design, marketing, and licensing and how their own area integrates with others to drive results
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within and/or lead a group or team providing guidance to members
  • Travel required up to 10%
